SWALLOW-TAILED GULL
Larus furcatus

Almost endemic to the Galapagos Islands but does breed on a few other islands off Columbia. It disperses much more widely than Lava Gull, and is often seen on pelagics in the Humboldt Current. One of the most distinctive gulls in the world, with an equally unusual juvenile plumage.
