ARCTIC TERN Sterna paradisaea

Known as the species with the longest migration, arctic terns nest in more northern latitudes than Common Terns species and migrate to subantarctic regions. They tend to breed more colonially, on islands especially, large colonies can be found in northern England, Scotland and Wales.
