The largest of the steamer ducks, because of this tends not to fly, but the old name 
of flightless steamer duck has been dropped because all three other species of steamer can actually "fly", although 
only for short distances and with little manouverability. Tending to be more coastal than Flying Steamers for 
obvious reasons, this species occupies the same coastlines, but not as far north as the Chubut Peninsular. Photos were 
taken in Tierra del Fuego.
